朱廷劭，中国科学院心理研究所研究员。
1993年获得南京航空航天大学工学学士学位，1996年和1999年分别获得中国科学院计算技术研究所硕士学位和博士学位，随后进入加拿大University of Alberta继续深造，于2005年获得加拿大University of Alberta博士学位。
朱廷劭博士的研究工作涉及机器学习、汉语文语转换以及网络行为心理研究等多个领域，并取得创新性成果。他首次提出利用数据挖掘进行汉语韵律规则的学习，并应用于汉语两字词和句子的韵律规则学习，取得较好的学习效果。他提出的利用机器学习的方法训练用户的浏览行为模型，有关的论文获得第九届国际用户模型大会的最佳学生论文。他开展的网络行为心理研究，从网络行为的分析实现对用户人格、心理健康以及社会态度的感知，并在此基础上实现群体心理的预警预报和有效干预。到目前为止，朱廷劭博士在国内外权威杂志和知名国际会议发表论文已发表学术论文50余篇。

大五人格探测器人人网应用，依托心理学知识原理，结合现代信息科学的技术成果，根据用户在人人网上的网络行为，预测用户五型人格得分的应用。
Webmind一个基于IE的浏览器，可以根据对用户的浏览行为分析，预测用户的意图及心理健康状况，并给出相关的推荐建议。
心导网利用认知行为疗法，提供针对抑郁和焦虑的自助调节服务，帮助用户提高对歪曲认知的识别和矫正的能力，从而改善心理健康水平。
WebICA Goal-Directed Complete-Web Recommender System”, 一个网络推荐系统，WebIC根据用户的浏览历史，利用训练得到的用户模型预测用户的意图，并驱动搜索引擎以得到与用户意愿最相关的信息。在为期一个月的用户试验中，用户评价72%的推荐网页是与他们搜索意愿相关并且有用的。
基于数据挖掘的语音合成系统
一个基于数据挖掘的普通话文语转换系统。DMTalker中的文语转换部分以TD-PSOLA为基础，以汉语单音节为合成单元，使用由数据挖掘得到的韵律规则，将汉语文本转换成汉语语音输出。
