即使不是Michael Jackson的歌迷，也知道这位天王已经故去五年的事实，所以当我在音乐网站看见《XSCAPE》这张专辑封面十分面熟的眼眸时，瞬间瞪大了眼睛，第一反应是莫非是MJ天王金曲集合之类的“大盆菜”。结果仔细一看，是新专辑！！一个故去的歌手五年之后还能有新专辑，特么真是见鬼了。（更正：MJ去世后发的专辑，更早的是2010年12月14日发行的专辑《Michael》。）
师出有名，人家EPIC RECORDS（一个美国唱片厂牌，是索尼的子公司）是联合了迈克尔杰克逊遗产管理委员会筹备良久才发行的天王最新专辑《XSCAPE》。由唱片公司执行主席L.A.
Reid亲自担任执行制作， Justin Timbaland担任首席制作人。
新专辑的命名也沿用了Michael Jackson以往专辑的做法——天王喜欢用专辑里的一首歌曲名来命名该张专辑，而且名字往往是一个单词，短小精悍且不失前卫性，这种做法从《Thriller》就开始，而“XSCAPE”正是新专辑中收录的一首歌曲。
专辑前8首全新制作的歌曲被制作人赋予了更符合当代的感觉，电子、嘻哈、轰轰作响，更多的合成器音效。虽然官方解释是“在保留Michael Jackson最本质的声音和最完整的音乐性的前提下，加入了一些符合当下流行的音乐元素”，但显然还是有几分心虚，怕死忠歌迷不认账，所以新专辑豪华版还收录了这8首曲目的原始录音版本。尽管这些歌曲当年没有被最终完成，但丝毫不会掩盖其光辉，留下来的是那个年代更加纯粹的感觉。正如网友所述，“他的声音出现的一瞬间，只有感慨心中那种他从未离开的感觉。”
主打曲《Love Never Felt So Good》（爱从未感觉如此美好）在1983年就已经制作，三十多年后的今天从重见天日，犹如举世瞩目中开窖的醇酒，依然芬芳了整个世界，前奏的第一粒音开始就开始充斥michael的气息，让整个时空都进入了michael的年代。让听者轻易泛起那种鸡皮疙瘩般鼻酸的感动。这首歌在发布后24小时内便一跃升至美国iTunes榜单第5名，在17个国家占据了榜单冠军位置，67个国家进入了排行榜前五名。歌迷很冷静地评价：“还有什么好说的，这等高素质的歌曲竟都是没被天王收到正式专辑里的，随便挑出来几个不都甩别人几条街。”是的，这些作品之所以从未发行过，直到现在才得以见光，原因只有一个——因为它们不够精华。被筛掉的歌再回收利用，想必如果天王还活着会第一个跳出来反对。Michael Jackson要求太高，那些没有在当年发行的歌，放在现在仍是无与伦比的佳作，Michael Jackson永不会过时，这正是他无与伦比的地方。

张专辑如果单从容量上来看，其实挺坑的。因为我们知道一般一张EP最多会收录7首歌，而这张专辑收录的歌曲就仅仅比EP多了一首..............
所以EPIC用了一种很讨巧的方法，那就是在普通版之外又发行了容量多达17首的豪华版。
那豪华版多出来的9首歌是个什么鬼？？？？！！！
MJ刚刚逝世时，有新闻报道说他遗留下多达三四百首未发行单曲。但从近年EPIC与遗产公司的发行状况看，MJ虽然留下了数量众多的未发行曲目，但其中大部分都是没有制作完成的demo，达不到发行要求。当然，对于MJ这种大神来说，即使只是demo，有一些还是可以稍微拿来制作然后用以满足求歌若渴的歌迷。
这部分稍微制作下就可以发行的demo,不会超过50首。
所以为了尽可能的多发专辑多捞钱，EPIC只好大幅度缩减专辑曲目。
当然，缩减曲目可是会被骂的，何况这张专辑里的八首歌有六首都是之前已经泄露出的。
所以，EPIC为了堵住歌迷的嘴，破天荒的将重现制作后的八首歌与之前的八首原始demo一起塞进了这张专辑，外加一首三度制作后由贾老板基情献声的主打歌，凑成了这样一张包含了十七首曲目的豪华专辑。
现在回归正题..............
与上一张MICHAEL专辑发行后一样，这张专辑发行后同样引来诸多争议。不过这次争议不是围绕真假歌的，而是针对新制作的版本和原始demo哪个更好上。
这还用想吗，当然是原始demo要好啦！
由于demo和新版本最主要的区别就在于编曲。所以下面就从编曲的角度分析下demo究竟比新版本好在哪里。
首先，新专辑的八首歌新版与样带对比之下，可以发现大部分歌曲在14年重制时已经和原来版本的编曲面目全非了。MJ肯定没有参与这些新元素的制作，而demo里的编曲混音都是MJ亲自把关的，从这一点就说明了demo要比新版好。
这算是扯蛋，下面我来一首首认真分析。
我个人觉得，所谓编曲，有三种境界。第一种，最拙劣的，就是铺个和声垫个鼓，出彩的再弄个弦乐，加上人声后让整首歌听起来还像那么回事。当然，相信索尼那群牛哄哄的制作人是不会这么拙劣的。
第二种境界，就是通过多种乐器的混音来丰富歌曲的感情色彩。值得肯定的是，这张专辑的所有歌曲的制作都符合这个标准了。当然，这种情况下编曲其实也还只是主旋律的陪衬。
第三种境界，就是编曲的融入使得整首歌曲更加升华到了一种地步。很遗憾的是，新版本没几首能达到这个水平，但DEMO里却有几首歌的编曲相当出彩。
我个人最喜欢的就是demo里的SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM。这首demo出彩的地方，一个是节奏比新版本更具动感性。第二点就是里面那个管乐，我也不听出是大号还是小号，但用的真是太棒了，这就是给歌曲加分的地方。那管乐吹得太性感了。
我要讲的第二首是DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE。本来听主旋律会觉得这首歌应该相当霸气。但新版本里弄得那个红白机的开场让整首歌说的好听点是感觉很戏谑，不好听叫充满了喜感。这样的结果是导致副歌出来时整体感觉没太大震撼的样子。不过萝卜白菜各有所爱，反正我不喜欢。相比之下，demo里那个前奏的电吉他铺的和弦就相当有冲击力有木有。不过，我还是更喜欢老早前泄露的那个10年的版本。那个版本直接拿来作主打都很有实力啊。亮点一是那个版本的节奏要更炫一点，而且保留了demo里很有冲击力的电吉他和声，更赞的是间奏里那个吉他SOLO简直不能更帅。整首歌听起来都是霸气十足的样子。
好了，第三个要批评的是A PLACE WITH NO NAME。作为MJ逝世后泄露的第一首歌(虽然只有片段）我真是望眼欲穿了许多年啊。这首歌demo的前奏运用吉他扫弦，很具乡村民谣的风格。在这种扫弦的引领下整首歌都具有一种美国公路片的画面感。当时想，如果配上点响指就更赞啦！然后，新版本出来妈蛋直接把老子听吐啦。这尼玛开头的贝斯低音是想搞毛线啊？整首歌都变味啦！一点都不清新！
这三首歌是我觉得demo明显好于新版本的。剩下的觉得DEMO和新版应该都是平分秋色这样子。专辑同名歌曲XSCAPE新版里开头那声DARKCHILD相当帅，而且中间穿插的大号声音也很有味道。应该说是但demo里有小女孩的那句话点缀的很到位。所以这两个版本算打平。
然后是LOVING YOU。Demo很有80时代感，听起来很怀旧。新版本制作的也还可以，我猜制作人一定对自己前奏里放的那段钢琴而感觉沾沾自喜，其实真心一般啦。
接着是Chicago。新老版本的风格差别很大。老版本有种蛋蛋的哀愁，新版本有种爆菊的快感。尤其是新版本里唱到SHE ASKED FOE HER NAME时节奏进来，那个鼓的加花听起来很带感有没有。哎其实鼓加花这种东西老子也会做啊。
最后来简单讲下主打歌。听说这首歌是上张专辑被淘汰掉的。新版本制作的不错，很耐听。制作人应该说是用心了。但其实凭良心讲，新版本和DEMO是没有可比性的。DEMO录制的时候MJ是真的在当DEMO录的，应该是一边过的那种，据说人声和钢琴都是录在同一轨的。而且MJ之后应该也没有再重新制作过这首歌，毕竟已经被别人拿去唱啦。所以新版本比DEMO听起来好也是应该的。求采纳！
